The courtship of the image and the words is the beginning. These two play and wiggle around in my head, and gradually tease me with their love for each other until they finally propose!

Sometimes the chemistry is immediate; sometimes it percolates for days. Sometimes there is an explicit connection; sometimes it is very subtle and only
implied. Mostly the process begins on its own, with no help from me, and the result is a play on words, an alliteration, a profound observation or an unexpected depth of understanding.

And, if the magic is there, the marriage creates a card.
